We want change. We want a more equal and democratic America. We want a country that respects and defends women’s rights. We want a greener country that doesn’t let ideology blind us to science.

Many Americans share our views on today's problems. Yet too often, it feels like our country, state or city is going in the wrong direction. So what can you do to make change? You can join Change Corps, the training academy for activists.

Step One: Learn the skills

The organizers who launched Change Corps understand that new activists need a place to start, to learn how to make their mark.

You’ll take part in an intensive classroom and field training where you will learn and practice the organizing skills you’ll need for the rest of your career. We bring in trainers from across the country, covering a wide range of issues, to teach you how to organize, run a campaign, and win change.

Step Two: Gain hands-on experience

There’s almost always someone standing in the way of change, whether it’s a powerful corporation or people whose views haven’t caught up with the times. We’ll teach you how to make the right case, be strategic when we organize and do what it takes to win campaigns.

You’ll work directly with groups like Planned Parenthood, Everytown for Gun Safety or Mi Familia Vota on their campaigns to defend women’s health, reduce gun violence or bring more people into our democracy.

Step Three: Get a job working for a cause you believe in

Our graduates have the training and experience necessary to work at some of the nation’s top social change organizations. If you join us, by this time next year you could be raising grassroots support alongside the biggest change-makers in America.

We're now hiring for the Class of 2018-19, to take on the many challenges and opportunities ahead of us, and change our country for the better.

You don't know what you want to do with your career. You only know that you want to change the world and you have the vague sense that organizing is the right way to do it. Change Corps was founded for you.
